By the time Kelowna finally tested Spokane goaltender Mac Engle, the Rockets were already in a deep hole. . Jason Fram, Mitch Holmberg and Anthony Bardaro scored before Kelowna had a shot on goal and the Chiefs went on to a 5-1 win over the visiting Rockets in Western Hockey League action Saturday. Engle only faced 12 shots in the Spokane goal while the Chiefs peppered Jordan Cooke with 45, including the first 15 of the game. Agent Kenny Zuckerman says Raiola has signed a one-year deal and hopes to help Detroit reach the post-season this year. The Lions have missed the playoffs the last two seasons. Raiola was drafted by the Lions in 2001 and has playyed for Detroit his entire career. Hes started all 16 games in each of the last five seasons. He was not charged with a single sack allowed last season, the first time in his career hed accomplished that. Detroit went 7-9 last season and coach Jim Schwartz was fired.
